Welcome to Meadowside Veterinary Clinic

Meadowside Veterinary Clinic is an independent small animal practice based in Whaley Bridge, serving families across High Peak, Buxton and surrounding Derbyshire villages.

Founded by experienced veterinary professionals, our clinic was created to offer thoughtful, evidence-based care in a calm and personal environment.

We believe veterinary medicine should be thorough, transparent and centred around your pets needs.

Clinic Hours

Monday to Friday from 8.30AM to 6.30PM

Saturday 9AM to 1PM

What We Do

We provide routine veterinary care for cats, dogs and small furries, alongside soft tissue surgery, diagnostic imaging including digital and dental X-ray, hip and elbow scoring, and dentistry. We also offer Class 4 laser therapy where appropriate. Our approach is practical, well explained, and tailored to each pet.

From health checks, vaccinations, parasite prevention to ongoing medical care. Our approach is practical and pragmatic, with clear advice to support pets throughout all stages of life.

Dog In Recovery

Surgery

Broad range of soft tissue surgical procedures carried out in-house, supported by appropriate anaesthesia, monitoring, and pain management. Our surgical services also include dentistry, with dental X-ray used to properly assess tooth and jaw health and guide treatment. Class 4 laser therapy may be used as part of pain management and recovery where appropriate.

Diagnostics and Imaging
 

Our diagnostic facilities include ultrasonography, digital and dental X-ray. We also provide hip and elbow scoring where required, supporting both clinical assessment and screening needs. Investigations are recommended thoughtfully, with results and next steps explained clearly.

Parking near Meadowside Veterinary Clinic 

 

 

 

Meadowside Veterinary Clinic is located in the centre of Whaley Bridge. While we do not have dedicated on-site parking, there are several convenient public parking options within a very short walk of the clinic.

        Canal Street / Canal Wharf Car Park – the main town centre car park located by the canal basin, approximately 1–2 minutes walk from the clinic

         Whaley Bridge Station Car Park – located beside the railway station in the centre of town, roughly 3–4 minutes walk from the clinic

​

 

         On-street parking – there is limited free street parking available on nearby residential streets around the town centre

We aim to make our services accessible to all clients and will make reasonable adjustments wherever possible in line with the Equality Act 2010. Due to the structure and location of our building, step-free disabled access is unfortunately not available. If you require assistance, please contact us in advance and we can help arrange alternatives such as telephone consultations, home visits, or assistance bringing pets into the clinic.
